3x Soldered USB-C male connector breakout
A USB-C plug on a 22 x 22 mm board, with VUSB, CC1, D+, D-, SBU1 and one SuperSpeed pair broken out to 2.54 mm pins.
The USB-C Male Connector Breakout puts a USB-C plug on a small board and brings its contacts out to two 5-pin headers. You plug it straight into a USB-C port and reach VUSB, GND and the signal lines on a breadboard or in your own wiring, without cutting up a cable.
There is no regulator, resistor or protection on the board, so every pin connects straight to the plug: VUSB, GND, CC1, D+, D-, SBU1 and the SuperSpeed pair TX1+/TX1- and RX1+/RX1-. CC1 has no pull-down fitted. A USB-C charger or port switches VUSB on only when it sees a 5.1 kΩ resistor from CC1 to GND, so you add that resistor yourself or connect a USB PD controller to CC1.
Two 5-pin 2.54 mm male headers ship unsoldered. Solder them on for a breadboard, or wire straight to the pads. Two 3.2 mm mounting holes let you screw the board down. The board measures 22 x 22 mm.
